Ovulation facts- please help as really struggling.

I have been trying to find out concrete facts about ovulation as I only have one overy and PCOS- so finding out I have ovulate means a bid deal for me.

​If you are charting bbt and opk do you have to see a dip  In bbt to know you have actually ovulated or is just a peak opk that shows ovulation??
