Red Cabbage Gender Reveal
My doctor won't tell me the baby's gender until 20 weeks exactly. And I'm impatient! So at 17 weeks, I decided to try this old wives tale.
Directions: Cut 2 cups of red cabbage and add to 2 cups of boiling water. Remove from heat and settle for 10 min. Remove the cabbage, leaving only the water and allow to cool. Pee into a cup. When both have reached room temperature, mix them together at equal parts. If the mixture turns a purple/blue color it's a girl. If the mixture turns a pink/red color it's a boy.
Here's my results:
Looks pretty pink to me! Prediction: BOY
Now to wait 3 more weeks and see if this was accurate. 😂 Anyone else tried this before? Were your results correct?
