Gender myths

So I'm a first time mom and I'm 11 weeks along. Me and my husband both really want a boy but a lot of our older relatives and friends are saying I'm having a girl. So I'm curious if the myth that if you have bad morning sickness (which I have) means you are more likely to have a girl. Any mommies with boys have bad morning sickness???
