How can u tell you have one? Can it go away by itself or can u get rid of it without going to the doctor

Symptoms are, itchiness, unusual gross smell, yellow or white chunky discharge, pain during any type of vaginal penetration. If you're super itchy to the point you can't stand it and have weird discharge that doesn't stop after a day or so I would definitely say you have one. It's pretty easy to know when you have it. Try monistat as soon as you're sure. It personally didn't work for me and I went to a walk in clinic where I was prescribed an antibiotic which immediately helped.
