Well my hubby is a big boy so I cant really put all my weight on him so I always lay down belly-to-belly. I get so sore with legs spread and his hip bones dig into my thighs so recently I've started putting my legs beside his. He likes it because my butt is much more grabable that way. It create a bit more friction down there when your legs are more closed and it's good if you're looking to go slower. You can bring up one leg at a time to change up the position a little or to give him a little speed if he needs the re-charge. I know that's not really "riding" per-se, but it's still a good on-top position. It's a good one for the "just the tip" game too.
