So, are you even pregnant the first two weeks of your 40 week pregnancy?
I'm so confused about it all! Lol 
Could someone explain?

No, the egg isn't fertilized. The 40 weeks goes by your cycle it includes your uterus filling with blood and the release of the egg.

40 weeks starts with the first day of your LMP.

The first two weeks of your pregnancy are 1- your period, and 2- before you ovulate. 
There isn't a gaurenteed way to tell when you ovulated, but there is a way to tell when you last started your period.
