how's life with two kids?

I really want my kids to be close in age to get it over with. lol I have a friend who just had a baby and her first child is 9 and she's having a really hard time adjusting to a new baby after it being just her and her oldest for so many years. That's why I want them close. But how much different is it ? What are the challenges ? Right now my baby will be 10 months in a few days.

Amazing.. they fight over anything and everything including who's air it is to breathe.. they fight over who gets to look out of which windows when we are driving down the road.. you buy cookies and they wait to fight over who gets the last one because that one is the most delicious apparently.. they fight over who's getting the orange cup and plate for supper because orange is their favorite color, both of them.. and when they figure out they both get orange, then they fight over who gets the first plate and cup... if that's not enough they fight over who is sitting in which chair.. they sit in the same chairs everyday... they fight over who's getting in the car first and who gets out first.. we have a four door suv.. they literally have their own door..just get out the car.. they fight over who is taking a shower first.. Neither wants to go first but they both want to pick which movie they watch after the shower.. (first shower gets pick).... it's never ending.. but it must not be all bad because I'm pregnant with number 3 :) good luck.. oh and I have oposite sex that is two years apart... my son is 7 and daughter is 5 :) currently 40.5 weeks with little boy !!

All five of mine are somewhere between 12 and 27 months apart. I bounced back from my VBAC quickly with #2. I was able to get back to doing everything I needed to in a couple of days. #1 was 19 months old at the time. Schedule, structure, patience, and organization is key.

I just had my second he's almost 3 months, my first is 4. I don't think she could be at a better age but it has been way harder than I thought I can hardly get anything done, or spend time with my 4 year old, I've got a pretty bad sleeper though so it will get better once he's old enough to sleep train. He only naps ON me and while rocking so it's sooo hard, I'm in the rocking chair ALL day, and he's always over tired and I'm always working on getting him to sleep... that being said who knows what type of baby you'll get 😂 just a 30 min nap would make my life a million times easier! Also while 4. Has been wonderful my daughter basically entertains herself all day, I can see being closer even though harder good too to get that phase over with! Lol...... my sons only getting older so quick though and she'll be starting school so it won't be this tough for long.... just be prepared to reset your priorities, house and dinner will be a huge challenge but just be prepared to let go a little and put those things on the back burner, while you adjust and get into a new routine... 3 month pp and I'm still trying to get into a routine 😂🙃 I love having 2 though ❤️

It's pretty difficult as well. Both have their positives and negatives. Mine are 3 months and 2 years. My baby does sleep through the night, but before she did, I had to wake with her several times and then be up with my 2 year old. My toddler needs me for everything,  so does the baby. I love them both, but wish I would have waited just a little bit longer between them. They're 25 months apart.

Right now I'm due in June and my little boy will be 2 in June as well. It's already hard. Oh my god. It wasn't planned and I'm doing my best but it's not fun. There's a 5 year age difference between my almost 2 year old and his older step brother and that was SO much easier.
