HELP! What do I do?

I noticed this rash on my son's neck this morning, it looks like his shirt rubbed him almost raw, I put hydrocortisone cream 1% on it and kept him undressed today. What causes this? Do y'all recommend anything or should I take him to his pediatrician right away?

That looks like more than a shirt rubbing him raw.. maybe the Velcro of a bib? I would for sure call and let them know! Especially if he's fussy, hurts when you touch it or if it's hot to touch that would concern me 😩 Good luck momma!!

I'm thinking it could also be a rash from drool or spit up when laying down? My doctor always tells me to keep an eye on how much drool gets under my daughter's neck because it could cause irritation. Just a thought though!
