Should I feel this way

This guy I know and I used to have a thing with added me on sc we had stopped having a thing because he called me fat and a Bitch etc I blocked him but recently unblocked everyone and so he added me back when I asked him why he said he wanted more numbers or something like that and just having him add me back makes me feel like a piece of shit. It takes me back to when he called me those names and stuff and when he made me feel worthless. I don't know if it is because I am on my period or something but it's really getting me down. Should I feel this way?
