What's up with Mucinex?

I've heard a lot of ladies on here talking about using Mucinex, but I have no idea what for? Anyone who is/has used it while TTC care to explain, please? :-D

I'm on my first round of clomid (ovary stimulating drug) this drug can cause your cm to be thick..musinex is supposed to thin it out so hubby's lil guys can swim easier. :)
