worst life experience ever.

So my niece lives with her dad and he's got like a billion kids and there's always lice going around there. I've made it through my whole life (25 years old now) and have NEVER gotten lice! I can't stand bugs of any sort, I freak out and get itchy just at the thought of one. So of course I got lice from her. It is the literally the worst experience I've ever had. I'd much rather bleed through my pants! Finding bugs in my hair has freaked me out over everything now, I'm so freaking paranoid to begin with. And trying to go through a work day with lice??? God, I've never been so self conscious before in my life. I'd be less self conscious naked in public than having lice ever again! I literally just wanted to cry at work! Sorry guys, just wanted to vent a bit about this horrible experience I hope I never have to go through again! Any advice on getting rid of, preventing lice? I have a 2 year old daughter I gotta protect too and the hubs gots a beard 😕 what's your worst life experience?
