spray tan during pregnancy?

I am 23 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Is a spray tan safe during pregnancy? I see women doing it but I want to make sure before I do...going to call my nurse this afternoon but wanted mom options...anyone done it?

Hopefully they would refuse to do it if they can see you're pregnant. Inhaling the solution is bad!

Personally, I wouldn't do it. They are full of chemicals and you can always tell when someone is spray tanned. Nothing more beautiful than being natural in my opinion. 💗

Spray tans and fake tanner are ok while you're pregos . Just make sure you wear the nasal plugs , so you don't inhale the fumes or spray . The tanner only coats the top layer of skin - it doesn't get absorbed into the blood stream or placenta etc . So the nugget is ok . Make sure you exfoliate well , sometimes hormonal changes can cause a reaction( either itchy or blotchy )  , but you should be ok .

My dr said spray tans are perfectly safe and it's listed as an approved thing in the pregnancy folder they gave me at the dr office. I've been getting one once or twice a month since the beginning and I'm 34 weeks now with a perfectly healthy baby. Spray tans just make me feel better about myself! The only thing my dr said is that your skin many react differently due to the hormonal changes but mine hasn't at all.
