Had first miscarriage Monday...
I had an awful natural miscarriage on Monday. I have a few friends who have had DnCs after not finding a heartbeat. How awful! But I haven't found anyone who had a natural mc. Here is my story:
I started to bleed Thursday night but the doctors didn't seem concerned at all. I started to get cramps at someone else's baby shower Sunday and I just sort of knew. I started to have bad cramps/contractions throughout Sunday night and then it all hit the fan at 6:00 am. Went to the ER with contractions and bled through clothes and blankets. After 3 hours I finally got some morphine and felt some relief but continued to have contractions until the morning. Pretty awful.
It's only been 1 day out but I am still cramping and sore. My emotions are obviously up and down.
How long did you stay out of work afterwards?
