Do you think bathing a baby in a sink is wrong?

I was only 4 pounds when I was born so my mum washed me in the sink up until I was about 3 and then she washed me in the bath. I've never thought there was anything wrong with it however I've recently seen people say they don't agree with it. What's your opinion?
