Wedding Guest 6 weeks after DD?

Question

For everyone who isn't a first time mom, how did you feel 6 weeks after baby? Had you lost some of the baby weight? Have a wedding 6 weeks after DD wondering what to expect!

My friend came to my wedding 4 days after giving birth and left the baby at home. Although the she only stayed for the ceramony and meal she showed face!  She is a true friend and didn't want to miss it at all.

I was a bridesmaid 7 weeks after I had my second son, I was dreading it but it was surprisingly good!! (It did help that there was one chubby bridesmaid lol) I say go for it, by 6 weeks you'll need/deserve a few hours away from home and an excuse to get prettied up!

I'm getting married 4 months after my baby arrives and I've ordered my dress already before I found out I was pregnant!

Hoping the dress fits with some breast feeding, healthy eating, swimming and walking!! Xxx

Wear a belly band to cinch everything in! I was still a little jiggly six weeks after! The belly band helped my jeans fit a little better so I imagine it would do the same for a dress. Good luck!

I have to go to Maine (I'm in NY) just 3-4 weeks after baby is due for my best friends wedding. I have zero idea how this will work, it's stressing me out. I know I'll look terrible I'm just hoping it's logistically possible 😞

It really depends on how much weight you gain as to what clothes you will be able to wear. There's a good chance that even if you don't gain a lot of weight, you will still need to get new clothes, because if you are breast feeding, your boobs will probably be at least a cup size or two bigger.

I would have been happy to go to a wedding at 6 weeks, but I would probably have not stayed the whole reception.

Ahhh my best friend is getting married 13 DAYS after my EDD. I'm freaking out that I won't feel so hot in the hoo ha region.  People I've taked to gave mixed reviews about how I could possibly feel.  I'm not even worried about fitting in a dress...just the poor va jay jay! 😳
