Is it okay for your best friend to talk to your boyfriend without letting you know? The way you find out is that your boyfriend tells you she talks to him

Btw she was giving him compliments
May add she barely gives me the time of day anymore but decided to message him

It sounds like it's innapropriate given the context you're talking about. I think it's fine in some cases, though. My husband asks my best friend for advice on stuff to get me and stuff like that, and vice versa, but they've never had a conversation that was inappropriate.

Yeah it's fine. My friend texts my boyfriend all the time and I don't feel like I should know. She's just more social than I am and generally talks to people more. She's not being inappropriate with him or anything

It would depend on the context and everything. If they're talking about surprises for me, I don't care. If he asks her what to get me, that's cool too. I wouldn't do them just talking or giving compliments though.

No. And that's just because all my 'friends' are out for themselves and there fannys. Can't trust any of mine. Would be nice to have friends that you could trust but all mine are EX friends, I don't have 1. And that's because everyone I had tried getting in my fellas shorts. Lol he would never go there amyway,  But they've always been like that since school. Glad I cut my losses with them all tbh. Only friends I need is my husband and my kids.

My best friend and my husband talk without me knowing and I talk to her husband without telling her. We do it for various reasons from finding out what each other is wanting for birthday/ Christmas ect or to plan a get together or any number of things
