braxton hicks or real contractions?

are you supposed to feel BH like in your butt ? I'm having pressure down there and I been cramping for a while now . I'm trying not go to the hospital until I'm for sure these are real contractions. almost 2 weeks ago I had to go to the hospital but they stopped the contractions with 2 shots . I'm 33w4days .

Real contractions won't go away no matter what you do. I would change positions or take a warm bath and start watching the clock. If the contractions are coming at regular intervals, get closer together, or become more intense, they may be real :) For me sitting is generally the best for calming down BH. With that being said though, everyone is different so even if you "just feel off" I would get it checked out. Trust your gut. Better to be safe than sorry.

I've been getting a pressure feeling in my butt when I have BH, but maybe call your midwife just in case.
