Just found out I have gestational diabetes! 😢

Hoping for a little advice from anyone who may have had it in the past or is currently controlling it - I've just got off the phone to the hospital who informed me that my glucose tests from last week are high so it mean that I have it! I have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow! I'm so upset as I keep reading all these things that it can harm your baby! How easy is it realistically to manage?
