So I'm 29 & want to get my drivers licenses. But I have some legal issues that never got resolved from back in 2007 one was for shoplifting a pair of earrings with one of my girlfriends when I was about 18. I was young and dumb. :( and the other one was drinking in a public place or something like that. The person driving pulled over in a park i don't even remember why. I was with a group of friends & I was super intoxicated apperantly I was the only one intoxicated. A police officer aproched us and asked us for our names I got arrested bcs of the warrant I had for shoplifting. I missed court bcs my mom ended up sending me away with my dad. And a couple years later Me & my bf were in the park taking hanging out we didn't know after a certain time the park closes. Well an officer came and told us we couldn't be at the park and thought we were under aged. we were only sitting on the grass doing nothing. So he asked for our names and of course my warrants showed up and went in and later got bailed out. And now years later I'm a mom I'm mortified to drive. Jail was the scariest thing ever. I eventually got bailed but I'm mortified to end up back there. My husband is the one that drives us to doctors apt and stuff like that but can no longer be leaving work. So he wants me to get my license. But my question is could I get a license even though I have warrants out for my arrest? How can I resolve these issues without going to jail my baby is only 5 months old and breastfeed. I have two more toddlers & I stay home with them. My oldest will start school this fall and will need to get dropped off at school. I don't know what to do it scares me to death to think I would be away from them. My kids are little and need me. What should I do does anyone know if maybe the warrants expired or got dismissed it's been so long and haven't been in any trouble since. Also I don't know how to resolve this isssue could ther be another way without going to jail?
