Ok please tell me I'm not the only one irritated when I get asked why I'm single. If I knew that answer, I'd fix the problem so I wouldn't be single anymore...🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Why I'm single, because now it's about me and mine. I'm not saying no to a relationship, I'm just not looking but if one falls into my space and/or lap I will give it an opportunity. But for now I'm focused on me and I'm happy.

After I broke up with my ex bf and before I met my now husband, I would get asked that a lot. My response was "I haven't met anyone who impressed me enough to change my status."

I'm not personally bothered by it. I'm not single anymore but when I WAS it didn't bother me, but because people were so used to the always single me that loves hookups and no strings attached and thoroughly enjoys sex and her body, my bf got WAY more "how did you get her" or "you got so lucky" when we started dating. Personally that one is way more insulting to the two of us.

I've said this to people before I never realized it's that rude. I mean, sometimes I really am like 'wow why the eff is this person single, they seem perfect to me' and that's the context I usually say it. Unless they do something totally gross like my one friend farted really loud and it was gross and I said 'oh I can't imagine why you're single' and we both laughed haha
