horrible anxiety at doctors
So I have something called "white coat syndrome." No matter how "calm" I am in general as soon as they call my name back to be soon I have a mini panic attack. This started years ago before I was pregnant. The doctors are aware and I'm not medicated bc "it's a temporary situation." At the end of appt it's a normal reading. During my panic attack I will get readings as high as 150s/90s and then at end 115/70. I have a cuff at home and check daily. It's accurate bc my husbands is the same on the home cuff as it is at doctors. Going to delivery via repeat csection in less than a week. Anyone else have this white coat syndrome? Did anything help? All my labs have always been perfect and readings outside of doctors are great. Please no negativity. I know it sounds weird enough already
