How many outfits and onesies did you buy in sizes 0-3 and 4-6?

Starting to shop a little for baby clothes and just wondering how many of each size I should consider buying??

Start w 14 outfits nb and 0-3.  Don't get more, cause you don't know how big your baby will be born.

Tip from my experience:  t-shirt/pant combos are cute, but a much bigger hassle (for diaper changes) than onesies/anything that snaps between the legs.  Also, t shirts just ride up every time you pick your baby up, or any time they're lying on an incline, so they were always up under my little one's armpits.  We pretty much never use them, even though they're SO CUTE.:/  she only actually wears things that snap between the legs.

It all depends on how often you want to be doing laundry for your baby. Don't buy a lot of nb sized clothes. Buy more 0-3 months clothes. Also, take into consideration that from 4 months up they can start solids & will be getting a little messy & will need to be changed more times in a day.

We had the most nb clothes - she wore them for 2.5 mo and still fits in some at 4mo. Right now she's been in 0-3 for 1.5mo.

I didn't get enough newborn. I ordered some when I got home from the hospital. The three packs on amazon that comes with pjs and an outfit and he wore those for the first month and a Half

I'm not exactly sure.. But with my first she weighed 6 pounds 13 oz when she was born and was in newborn for 2 months.. She was in 0-3 until she was 7 months. So just remember that babies age by months doesn't always match up with the clothes by the months.

I have the most amount in 0-3 sized clothes. I barely had any newborn and my LO ended up arriving 3 weeks early. So I had to go out and buy more. She was very petit and at 7 weeks is in between newborn and 0-3 month sizes. I think she will get at least 2 months of use in this size.

We didn't take into consideration how much people buy you as gifts....
I got so excited and bought loads, then ended up with so many outfits. My daughter has hardly worn them lol 😂

I don't think it's an official answer to this. I'm a shopaholic and I have over 200 onies just size 0-3 granted I know my son not going to wear them all but I couldn't resist buying everything was just too cute. I just stayed 3-6 months and I'm sure it will be the same.

I tried to have 2 outfits for each day of the week, so around 14. Some sizes I got excited about my options and had more outfits.
