I've been with my boyfriend for three weeks and I was wondering when is the right time to start having sex? I'm 16 and I'm ready and I trust him, I've done it before- is it too early?

The decision to have sex shouldn't be taken lightly. I lost my virginity at 15. I got pregnant at 16 and miscarried I wasn't ready for that kind of emotional pain and physically hurt to lose that. The decision to have sex should be between you and him and by you having to come on here tells me that you really aren't ready to have sex with him having sex with somebody you give a piece of yourself to that person and you can't really know only after 3 weeks if he's the person that you want to give it to I speak from experience here. If you are going to do it please and be safe both of you need to be of age in your state use protection and be ready for any consequences from diseases or pregnancies that you could have I wish you the best of luck honey.

My boyfriend and I had only been dating 2 weeks. We knew each other for years but didn't get close until a month or 2 before that. If you feel like you're ready just make sure you are safe about it. Condoms, pills, etc. Good luck 😊

I'm agreeing with these girls that it's too early. But I should tell you that I'm not trying to be hypocritical just to be hypocritical--you guys are young and having sex this early into the relationship isn't a good idea. Unless you're mentally prepared for the consequences. I had sex with my current boyfriend after three days of meeting him--we weren't even dating lol I was just fine with whatever happened. I was fine whether he just continued to use me for sex, left me alone after getting what he wanted, or decided to take the relationship further. Glad he chose the last option because I felt like we had a connection. I don't know, I should've waited probably, but I make impulsive decisions, and I don't regret it. Best sex I've ever had 😂😂😂 we both needed that I think. But anyways, I think it's too early. BUT if you think you're ready, just be very careful. Anything can happen after you give yourself to him.

Depends on you but let me tell you something: just because you have sex doesn't mean he will stay and the relationship will be perfect;just because you don't have sex doesn't mean he will leave and the relationship will be not perfect.

Some people have sex on the first might, others a year after. Some wait till marriage. It depends on the person.

Now you having sex isn't too important to me but you having SAFE SEX IS. Always a condom, need to protect yourself from STDs and pregnancy. Even if they say they are clean. You never know because some STD's remain dormant and they also have incubation periods.

It's too early. I am 21. I have been best friends with my now partner for EIGHT YEARS. I only just recently gave myself away for the first time and I gave myself to him. Not saying You have to wait THAT long but just realize having sex with your SO only bands you guys deeply and brings you closer and makes it that much harder for both of you if you break up. Thank God that my partner and I are getting married soon, we would DIE if one of us decided to break up at this point. In other words, we are both SMITTEN with each other! And having sex with each other has only intensified things, but in a good way for us.
