Does/Will The Pill get rid of my migraines?

I get menstrual migraines, either a week before or the week of my period. They are literal hell and I hate them. I don't get them super often, maybe every 2-3 months, but when I do get them I'm down for a few days and it's sooo fricking bad. I know that if I do get bc I'll have to get the mini pill because the combo pill will pose a stroke risk to me.

Will the mini pill help regulate my migraines?
