Why do you want him to go to sleep without a bottle? Also, it's way too early to start sleep training. Four months is about the earliest you should start that. Right now they're still so little and still adjusting to being out in the world!

2 months is still a little young to be sleep training. What you can do is start a night time routine. Even as simple as how you dress your LO for bed. Add a book, bath and cuddles. Babies sleep patterns come in ebbs and flows. Sometimes they will sleep more sometimes they will sleep less. Especially when they hit their leaps and growth spurts. It simply comes with the territory and every baby is different. My LO is 7 weeks old and usually wakes up once or twice at night. A quick diaper change and feed them she's back to sleep.

How do you get him to sleep for naps? We do the same thing for bedtime that we do for naptime. He eats, plays for awhile, gets swaddled and goes to bed. The simplicity of the routine and the consistency is what helped us.
