risk of getting the flu??

About 3 days ago my friend came over to see me and my one month old. She was holding her and kissing on her the whole hour or so she was over. Today she texts me that she has the flu! She was totally fine when she came to my house, now I'm nervous about my baby! What can I do to make sure she stays healthy?? I exclusively pump and bottle feed her my milk. Any other precautions I can take??

This same thing happened to me. It was a Saturday that my in laws came over.  They ALL (mom dad and sister) tested positive for the flu on that Monday.  I about died!! I disinfected my entire house the second I found out.  My daughter was about 6 weeks old at the time.  She didn't get it, thankfully!! I think the incubation period is like 24 hours before symptoms start.   So if she got it 3 days later you should be okay.  In my case it was like 1.5 days later and mine didn't get it.  
I am VERY cautious now about visitors and germs.  No kissing allowed (ive had issues with that) and handwashing is a must!
