Taun Jaxon Buckholz was born today

Taun Jaxon Buckholz was born today. We went in for an ultrasound to check fluid levels because I was measuring small, thinking nothing of it. Next thing we know we're whisked off to labor and delivery because there was apparently no amniotic fluid. Started right off with pitocin and checked, my water had not broken. For some reason my fluid levels were just really low. I actually progressed quite nicely I was 100% effaced and 7.5 dialated when I was taken to an emergency c section because baby had low heart rate. Turns or with no fluid and cord wrapped around his ankle that was messing with his heart rate. C section was a very strange sensation and not in my birth plan at all. But whatever it took for me and little buddy to make it through safely was what we were going to do. Happy happy unexpected day. Oh, 40 weeks exactly today.
