Moving out of state

My fiancé and his boss are considering moving the company out of state, most likely to Texas. We are currently in SoCal and I of course intend to move with him. It's not like I'd be going against my will. my question(s) to you ladies that have made the move is: how was the transition? Specifally from SoCal to Texas or any other out of state moves. Did you recent your significant other for the move? How was the lifestyle change? How long did it take you to find a job there? How long did it take you to get settled with a routine of some sort? Any advice, stories sharing would be great! Thanks 😊
