I hate JRS

So my SO wants our son be a JR. I really don't Ike JRS I feel like it don't give the kid it's own identity and people expect for him to be just like his dad. I don't want that and it's causing a big big argument between us. I just don't know how to go about it without there an argument and for both of us to voice our opinions. I NEED HELP!!!!
