I'm confused!!!!!!!!

So my period was suppose to come the 5 or the 6 of of this month (April) . But I haven't got anything I'm already almost or already a week late , I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative? Does this mean I'm forsure NOT pregnant. Need advice please!!
