What wrap/carrier do you like for a newborn?

What wrap or carrier do you/did you like for your newborn? My son is 9lbs and a few weeks old and I'd like to start putting him in a wrap or secure/comfy carrier especially when I'm going for a quick trip to the store. Also is there a type you would recommend avoiding?
