tanning beds while pregnant???

My wedding is next month, I live in Northen Minnesota and I would like to be decently tan for my wedding lol. Are tanning beds okay or do you ladies know of any good bronzing lotion??

I think tanning beds are bad generally not just for someone who is pregnant. Spray tan would be safer.

I use St Tropez tanning foam and it looks pretty natural.  Check with your OB to see if it's safe.  I bought it at Ulta.

Tanning beds are unhealthy whether you're pregnant or not. Every time you use then you drastically increase your risk of cancer. NOT worth it - get a spray tan. Do the kind where a person sprays it on you manually, it will be more "custom" compared to a spraying machine.

No, they are not safe.  Just ONE use increases your chance of developing melanoma by 20%.  After a skin cancer scare and a chunk out of my leg, i am a bit passionate about this. 😏

A tanning bed is the same UV rays that you get when you're outside, except in a tanning bed you can control it and the level of UV you receive. Other than the heat of it, if it was going to harm the baby it would already be harming your organs.
