Evening primrose oil

So I started taking evening primrose oil 2 weeks ago by mouth and just last night inserted one vaginally. Was up with contractions and low pressure all night into today. I am already dilated to a 2 and completely thinned out. Almost 36 weeks. Dr said any day from here on out, they will induce at 38 weeks due to blood pressure and my age. I was hoping to go naturally and not be induced. Has anyone ever had any symptoms after one time of vaginally inserting one capsule? Just wondering if this is false or if I should try again tonight and see? Thanks in advance.
