do you need god in your life
Genuinely curious.
I see so much about god on this forum. I see so much credit be given to god for such things as:
Getting pregnant
Not getting pregnant
Being a good person
Doing kind things
Recovering from illness
Finding a good partner etc etc etc
It seems that there is a general opinion that for you to be a good person you need god in your life.
What is your opinion. Do we need god for us to be good people?
Personally I'm an absolute atheist. Yet, my life is pretty much devoted to helping and rehabilitating the traumatised, maltreated, abused. It consumes my life but I believe it is right and real and true to me to help other people in this world. I do this without any god. Why should I need him to be 'good'?
