When my now boyfriend and I started talking at first he would tell me how beautiful I was and how he always had a crush on me, and now months into the relationship, I can't really remember the last time I was complimented. I've recently gained eight since we started dating and kind of let myself go when it comes to makeup and hair, so I know I'm not exactly the pretty girl he fell for. Wondering if I'm being too needy, or maybe he's over it. What's the normal amount of attention y'all get?

My boyfriend rarely compliments me. He says he doesn't feel like it's necessary, because no matter what, he always thinks I'm beautiful and talented. But I told him that sometimes I don't feel like I am, so I need him to tell me that I am. And besides, who doesn't feel good when they get a compliment? Especially from the man you love!
