CM and egg quality
Hello, does anyone know if the quality of cervical mucus is linked to egg quality? I am 35, ovulate regularly and generally have fertile cm each month. However some months I have what I call 'super dooper ewcm' which is copious, very strong, slippery and stretchy (up to 4 inches or so)- it's like exaggerated fertile cm. The reason I ask is because I recently had a late mc and tests show the baby had a trisomy (genetic abnormality). These become more common as we age. So do the hormones that produce cm recognise a healthy egg and produce more fertile cm to aid conception or am I just making up a ridiculous theory which has no scientific basis??Thanks in advance ladies!
