Husband accidentally gave baby an old bottle??

Question

I asked my husband if he could feed the baby the bottle of breast milk I had just pumped and he got the one by the sink that was left over from earlier today and was feeding it to him. I think it has been out for 9 hours at room temp?? Should I take my baby to the Dr? Or what should I expect? 🙁

It's pretty likely that if it was really bad baby would have refused it also, I've given baby bottle 8 hours old before and he took one sip and spit it out 😂

Men are so dumb. Lol but it should be fine. Baby might just puke it up if it's really bad. If it was really bad baby probly wouldn't have taken it too but don't worry. My husband has done the same lol

9 hours?  He probably will get an upset tummy and possibly diarrhea. But I doubt anything else will come out of it. I've done it once and my daughter had diarrhea and cried for a few good hours.. was a rough night..pediatrician said not to bring her in unless she's vomiting or has fever.

Bubs should be fine he may just get an upset tummy and spit it back up, ive done this before with breast milk and a formula bottle my son just spat up the milk and drank a new bottle and was good again. Don't stess these things happen

I'm not sure about breastmilk but my friend dropped a bottle under the seat in her car and accidently pulled out another one under the seat that had been in the car for days and her baby was fine! I know every baby is different. Unless your baby seems in a lot of discomfort or pain or if the consistency of their poo changes then I wouldn't worry. 9 hours isn't the end of the world x
