My daughter was born at 6.8 lbs. at her 4 month appt today, she weighed 13.8 lbs. the doctor told me she is overweight because a baby shouldn't double their birth weight until 5 months of age and that I need to limit her food intake for a while. I don't force feed her, I feed her what she wants when she is hungry (formula fed). Has anyone else been told their baby is overweight?
