Sex??

Im 39weeks. And was wondering did sex make you go into labor? Me and my so are trying it but nothing so far.

There is something in the semen that helps to soften your cervix & prepare for labor. My husband & I didn't have much sexy throughout the pregnancy, but when I hit 40 weeks, we tried a couple days in a row & nothing happened. On the day/night I went into labor, we had gone for a long walk that day & then had sex that night (about 8p) & I went into labor at midnight. Because of the whole semen thing, sex can definitely help with getting things going.

My fiancé and I have had sex my entire pregnancy practically daily. I don't even get little cramps anymore. And I JUST started to efface this last week (I was completely thick at 37w and I'm 50% at 38w) 
I'm jut trying to enjoy sex now before it's going to be a LONG time before we can again 😂

Haha, it only helps when your baby is ready. So it can make a delivery come earlier some 1 to 4 days maybe… but hey every days counts, so I'm all over my husband these days (and he doesn't mind)

We had sex the day before my induction. It did nothing to my cervix, but I sure enjoyed it. 😝

Also, it's going to be a few weeks now, so I figured I should get it in while I had the chance.

I'm one day overdue.  I've been 4cm and 90% effaced for 2 weeks and 3cm 50-80% for 2-3 weeks before that.  We've been trying and it seems to cause some increase in contractions but no baby yet.

I always have contractions after for HOURS but the always go away. So false labour to get my hopes up, yes. Real labour? No.
