Sore throat after giving head?

So I gave my boyfriend head two days ago & yesterday my throat became very sore & it hurt to swallow. It was only my third time giving head ever & I did try to deepthroat. Do you think it's an infection or some kind of STD? I'd really rather not see a doctor if it doesn't seem serious.

I don't believe it's an STD. But no one will know for sure unless you get tested. I think it may have to do with how your mouth/throat is sensitive to bacteria and isn't used to the vigorous thrusting motion which can cause soreness.

Happened to me once, found out it was a bacterial infection in my throat. Was horrible...had to take a Z pack. Make sure your man cleans himself really good and you don't do it after like a long day at work because it only takes a small amount for this to happen again..lol

That happened to me as well! That's why I HATE giving head. I did it to my BF last week and now the left side of my throat hurts. I just think it's unsanitary. I'm not doing it anymore. If that means I'm going to be single forever then so be it. 🤷🏽‍♀️
