Help with clear blue easy opk?!

Question

Last time I used the opk I got all blank circles until I got the solid peak fertility smiley. This time, I got blinky high fertiltiy smileys on Thurs & Fri but on Sat & Sun I got blank low fertility circles. I am so confused. Anyone else have this and later get a peak smiley?

This is my second month using. I got blank circle for a few days and then both months had 5 flashy and then my solid smile. Both months it was way later in my cycle than I was expecting it to be.
