Nesting and CARPENTER ANTS??? 😩

38+ weeks pregnant and in full nesting mode. Of course this is the year where we have excessive rain and here come these persistent big black carpenter ants. They are everywhere, in almost every room and it is making me crazy!!! We've tried the Terro traps, boric acid with sugar, boric acid with jelly, even had an exterminator come... and while we find dead ones every day which tells me something must be working, it still doesn't seem to be impacting the amount of live ones strolling around our house. I am due in the next 2 weeks and can't imagine bringing a baby home to this. I'm ready to burn this house down and let the ants live in the rubble, I am so fed up. Please if anyone has had this problem and knows if a solution that works, please let me know!!
