What's happening?

So, my boyfriend and I recently started having sex (in the last month) and because of trauma that occurred with my first boyfriend, my doctor told me to use lidocaine until I could get my body used to sex. Well, two days ago, I wanted to see if I could handle it without the lidocaine, and things went pretty good up until he pulled out. After we were finished, my vagina started burning all over the inside and I don't know why or what happened. We've only done it one time after that and the same thing happened again. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know what's going on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
