The clean and clear moisturizer tingles my face?

It's the dual action moisturizer which moisturizes and prevents/treats pimples and has salicylic adic. Whenever i apply it I get a cooling minty feel on my face. Is this normal? I know it's not related to anything in this app but I'm not sure who to ask. This never happened to me with a moisturizer but then again it's my first moisturizer that has salicylic acid in it.
