When to announce?

I'm approx 4.5 weeks pregnant, due around 12/23/17. We are telling immediate/close family today at Easter because they know how long we've tried and how badly we wanted this. I don't know if I can wait until my first appt at 9.5 weeks to tell social media. IM DYING!!! I'm just so happy and excited and my husband and son want the world to know too!

Hi Carley! I'm actually 9.5 today & plan of finally announcing & sending this picture to our friends and extended family. We shared with a select few earlier. I'm comfortable announcing now & I think that's what's most important! Is your comfort level. Some advise not to announce before 12w in case something happens but I'd rather have all the support vs managing on my own. Happy & healthy pregnancy to you 💕

I have been dying to announce too! It is our first! we have our first ultrasound on thursday at 6wks1day. We are telling our parents on the same day because both sets of parents happen to be visiting (schedules before we found out!). Everyone else we are waiting until 12 wks when we have our check up and additional ultrasound. Its our first like I said so I am terrified something is gonna happen so that is why we havent 😩😢

We announced on Easter and now my lo is 18 months old lol 😂😂 congrats!! I know it's hard but wait until at least 12 weeks

I announced at 6 weeks I think, I know it was before I had my first doctor appointment lmao I couldn't hold it in any longer 😂 announce whenever you feel comfortable and that it's the right time!
