braxton hicks, when did you go into labour after that?

So I'm 34 weeks and been getting period pains on and off. They went completely before now ive got them lightly again, no blood or discharge or back pain. Baby is still active.

Apparently it means labour is near?🤔

When did you go into proper labour?

I've had them with this pregnancy since 24 weeks, massive pain but it's just your body preparing. I had them from 30 weeks with my first baby and had her at 39weeks 3 days. It doesn't mean labour is near. You'll definelty know if you were having real contractions.

Nah...definitely doesn't mean labor is near. Some people get them at 20 something weeks!

The rule is 5 contractions lasting 1 minute in 1 hour. If that's the case then call your doctor and go to maternity ward and get checked out. But sorry to say Braxton hicks can last weeks/months without causing labor.

I've been having Braxton hicks since I was 25 weeks pregnant this is my second so felt them more, I haven't gone into labour yet and I'm now 35+2 weeks so I don't think it means labours near, it's just preparing your body for birth x

Been feeling the same! Until theyer consistent my doc said not to come in lol anything more 5-7 minutes apart he said stay home lol good luck though just try and rest an drink water!

No telling. They can go on intermittently for months unfortunately.
