I got the implant removed on March 9 last month. My reasons were because I bled 24/7, literally never went more than 3 days without a period, excessive bloating along with weight gain, acne, depression, etc. overall it was just a bad experience. Now that I've had it removed I'm still having side effects. I literally watch what I eat, & as of last week I was on vacation walking at least 6,000 steps a day but instead of losing I've gained 3 pounds. My vagina has been mildly irritated for the past two weeks with white discharge & spotting. Itll go away for a day then come back the next. I made an appointment at my local clinic, they did a swab test & said my discharge was totally normal. So then I started to think I was pregnant but there's no way I could be because I've had protected sex since removal. Also haven't started my period yet, I was bleeding the day of removal & it lasted for 6 more days afterwards. I'm just really curious if anybody had these same effects & how long did it take the hormones to leave?
