airplane arms ?

Lately my baby has been holding arms to the side like an airplane when I hold her or when I seat her to eat in bumbo - is this normal ?

My son does this to balance and Dr said it's because they don't really know they're attached yet. However that was said at 6m check up. He still will have one out for balance sometimes, and when I hold him on my hip but now hes understanding holding on.

My son does exactly same thing. Looks really funny especially when he is asking for food
