I asked my boyfriend what his opinion is on period sex, since we used to have sex near the end of my period but we haven't in a good six months. He then likened menstrual blood to poop, because it is "the body getting rid of material", and said he didn't want it on him. I am offended, but I don't know if I have a right to be, because he obviously has the right to not want to have sex... but it is not like bowel movement AT ALL. I don't quite know how to explain that to him.
