How fast does your SO text back?

My friend and I are having a debate and apparently a lot of guys take forever to reply. We get you're busy and have jobs but going a whole day without saying anything is a bit much in my opinion, especially if you're at a more serious stage of the relationship.

For those who don't live with their SO, how often do you talk or see eachother?

With my boyfriend being a chef he texts me for a few minutes at a time during his smoke breaks
When he's at home it depends on if he's gaming or not, if he's gaming, hours.

Whenever lmao. If he's free and has his phone he'll respond right away but otherwise he'll text me back sooner or later. He's not a fan of texting so if I call him instead of texting he always picks up.

My bf and I have been together two years and we are also insanely busy, but we talk everyday even if it's just a few texts in between classes/internships 
How much we talk really depends on how busy we are/who has a busier day because it varies. We do usually communicate about how busy we are day of, so there isn't any confusion.

I would say that an entire day is pretty weird UNLESS it is something you've discussed beforehand.
